Students and staff celebrate GCSE success at Chantry Academy
Students and staff at Chantry Academy, part of The Active Learning Trust, are celebrating yet another year of GCSE success.
Particular achievements included those of Megan Gray-Cullum who achieved six grade 9’s, a Distinction* and a grade 8.
Fellow student, Landon Howes-Titchmarsh achieved (amongst other qualifications) five grade 8’s and a level 2 Distinction.
Additionally, Phoebe Farrell achieved four grade 8’s, four grade 7’s and a level 2 Distinction.
Also triumphing was Prissha Kirubakaran with a grade 9, two grade 8’s, three grade 7’s and a Level 2 Distinction. Prissha has also been awarded a scholarship to study at Framlingham College from September.
Acting Principal at Chantry Academy, Rick Hanson, said: “Congratulations to all our students receiving their results today. We are delighted that so many attained the grades they require to move on to their next stage of education.
“The students and staff have worked tirelessly to overcome many of the barriers and challenges that the last few years have brought and to see them not only meet, but exceed expectations, is a credit to them all.”
